I’ve been thinking a lot recently about how women, or just anyone who embraces that whimsical feminine energy, are always creating magic.

Creating a life at home, living slowly, finding beauty in the smallest things. Dancing in the kitchen and laughing, pottering in the garden, candles at night, pancakes for breakfast - always seeking out joy and life and magic.

Breakfast in bed.

Rearranging your workspace, or any space really.

Playlists for different times of the day.

Using fresh seasonal produce.

Flowers everywhere.

Picnics.

A market basket for shopping.

Setting the table with linens and pretty tableware.

A cake in the cake stand on the counter to have with afternoon tea.

Night time drinks and snacks in pretty serving bowls and glassware.

Morning walks.

Washing hung outside to dry in the sun.

Trying a new seasonal recipe.

Candles lit in the kitchen after cooking.

An afternoon or evening on the sofa reading, flicking through a magazine or coffee table book.

Easy breezy outfits like a chunky knit with linens to feel put together, even when just at home.

A little bowl of easter treats on the counter or the table next to some pretty paper napkins.

Handwritten cards to post with pretty stamps.

Pizza Saturdays.

Windows open & fresh air flowing in.

Embracing the simplicity of life in the moment, not constantly looking forward, wanting more.

Just peace, calmness and contentment.
